Babel of Hollywood episode 3: Substnace in defence of Luise Perry

The third episode of Babel of Hollywood was inspired by the movie The Substance. This sci-fi movie heavily focuses on women’s need to stay beautiful, especially in the uncontrolled market of Hollywood. It serves as confirmation of Louise Perry’s words about how our society has failed to help women transition from the role of attractive young girl to mother and from mother to matriarch. By taking away these roles in a world where the family model has been destroyed, we’ve created a situation where women can focus only on one role: that of an attractive woman. This drives them to utter madness, as this movie perfectly shows.
